We’ve always said that the Lebanese Salad is the Secret Hero of the menu here at Prince. So, when we decided we were going to start a blog, it only made sense that our first post be about it.
The salad stands out for multiple reasons when compared to a regular salad of just leafy greens. This is a massive serving of freshly diced vegetables, topped with an olive oil, and mint dressing.
We dice cucumbers, tomatoes, and onions, into a large bowl, and top it off with your choice of protein. Our personal favorite is Lamb Shawarma, but it’s just as tasty with Gyro meat, or Chicken Shawarma. (Pro tip: if you add the Tahini sauce, it becomes a salad style very popular in Jerusalem.)
An added benefit to this salad is that it’s Keto friendly. So many people come in asking for our Keto options, so we decided to tell everyone about our favorite Keto items on the menu.
If you like your food spicy, then you can make any protein choice spicy. And if you’re really brave you can add a whole roasted jalapeño.
