The Francis Kobty Hospitality Scholarship
This scholarship was established by the Kobty family in partnership with the Travel & Sports Legacy Foundation in memory of Francis "The Prince" Kobty, founder of the Prince Lebanese Grill. Francis lived his life with a strong sense of family, community, and hospitality. The restaurant dream became a reality in 1989, beginning with the conversion of a former Sonic Restaurant. From there, this labor of love became an iconic thread in the fabric of Arlington. Prince Lebanese was not just a restaurant, it was the culmination of The American Dream. Thousands of loyal customers became family and everyone who worked there became his own children.

The Kobty family wishes to honor "The Prince's" legacy by offering a Culinary Arts Scholarship to homegrown talent from Arlington Independent School District (A.I.S.D. and Mansfield Independent School District (M.I.S.D.) reach their goals at Tarrant County College.
